Inventory
KloudMate's AWS inventory is a dedicated dashboard where users can monitor 15+ widely used AWS services. It provides access to various AWS resources across several regions under a single dashboard. Following are some of the services that can be monitored using the AWS inventory:
- AWS Lambda Functions
- DynamoDB Tables
- API Gateway
- Step Functions
- SQS Queues
- Kinesis
- EC2 Instances
- EBS Snapshots
- VPC
- RDS Instances
- S3 Buckets
The users can start monitoring their AWS services as soon as they link their AWS account with KloudMate.

The left panel of the inventory dashboard provides a list of the AWS services organised by resource type. The users can get a detailed overview of any resource and its associated metrics by clicking on any of the services from the list.

Upon selecting a service, the right panel will display all the relevant metrics such as Name, Region, Size, State, and more.
To analyze a resource of the selected service more closely, the users can click on the corresponding arrow under the Details column in the right panel.
Doing so will open a window that displays various additional metrics and their related information for the selected resource. Users can decide the time duration for which they want to view the given information using the time scale menu given on the top right corner of the window.

The information and metrics displayed on the right panel may vary depending upon the service selected on the left panel.
For example, for Lambda Functions, the right panel shows the Name, Region, and Timeout. More Lambda associated metrics can be viewed for any of the listed Lambda Function using the corresponding arrow under the Details column. These additional metrics include invocations, errors, duration, cold start, and memory along with other configuration and tag details.

Similarly, for DynamoDB Tables, the right panel shows Names, Region, and Status. The other DynamoDb associated metrics that can be viewed using the Details column in the right panel include READ and WRITE Capacity Units (RCU and WCU), latency, errors, and Throttling events.

The users can also use the search bar at the top of the right panel to quickly look up a specific resource(s) using its name, or to list and view all the resources in a specific region using the desired region as a keyword in the search bar.

KloudMate's AWS inventory provides a unified observability experience for various AWS services, helping users go from observability to action in a few simple clicks.
