What Is Incident Management?
The term 'Incident' refers to an event or issue that may negatively impact your services, application workflow, end users, or customers. KloudMate automatically detects issues within your synced services, letting you address them before they impact your applications. Additionally, all such issues are tightly integrated with a robust Incident Management module, to be managed efficiently, once they start causing disruption within the application. KloudMate's Incident Management Module is designed to help you streamline your end-to-end incident response strategies and workflows. Your teams can detect, delegate, notify, track, and collaborate, to resolve incidents all within a single, unified platform.
The Incident Management module within KloudMate comprises various components:
The 'overview' screen provides a way for you to keep tabs on all of the incidents in your infrastructure and their respective stats under one screen.
An 'incident' is any event or issue that may negatively impact your services, application workflow, or customers.
'Services' within KloudMate's incident management module enables you to group your incidents, based on the service or microservices that they belong to.
'Integrations' are webhook endpoints that can be called from external services to send Incidents. You can create multiple integrations for each service.
'Escalation policies' are used to define the escalation steps. For each escalation step, you can define how and who to notify, if an incident remains unacknowledged or unaddressed.
