the table panel displays the data in a table view the panel also includes a query box, which you will use to define the data that you want to be displayed, and a set of settings that you can use to transform your data and add information to your panels if you choose your panel type to be table, you will be offered the following set of general settings general settings panel provide a name, and description for your panel column you can rename the column heading of the table and modify the data format the data in the resultant table can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking on the arrow next to the column headers of the table note that the table panel type can only be used for opentelemetry data sources
