the stats panel displays the data in panel view the panel also includes a query box, which you will use to define the data that you want to be displayed, and a set of settings that you can use to transform your data and add information to your panels if you choose your panel type to be stats, you will be offered the following set of general settings general settings panel provide a name and description for your panel rename you can rename an individual stat panel based on your preference stat config you can use stat config to choose how to view the data view modes grid view presents data in a grid layout for a visual overview table view displays data in a table format, allowing users to sort values in ascending or descending order for easier comparison text mode choose what information appears in the panel label, value, or both this allows you to tailor the display to your specific reporting needs colour mode assign colour to either the value text or the entire background, providing flexibility in how emphasis is visually communicated colour scheme select a single colour for all values for a uniform appearance, or apply threshold based colouring so that the colour automatically changes when a value crosses a defined threshold format options use the format dropdown to select how data is presented, such as number, percentage, or duration (milliseconds) calculations you can select which aggregate value you want to see in the stat panel, for example, mean, max, total, count, etc threshold you can add a threshold on the stat value, and when the value crosses the threshold, it turns into the selected threshold colour value mapping you can map values of the stat panel to a text and change its colour based on different conditions when the values reach the condition, they get replaced with the text and colour time range settings access time range settings for panels by clicking on panel settings > time range time range settings allow you to perform the following override dashboard time range individual panels can use their own time range configuration you can use it to override the dashboard time range by enabling override dashboard time range time shift shift a panel's start and end time by specifying a time shift expression it supports the following operators subtract time (required) units same units as dashboard time range expressions override settings you can use the override setting to override a specific value with a property like threshold, unit, calculation, etc
