Adding Integrations

Use the following steps to add a new Integration.

Step 1: Navigate to the integrations screen by clicking on Incident Management > Integrations.

Step 2: Click on the Add Integrations button located at the top right corner of the screen

Step 3: On the next page choose the Integration Type from the drop-down menu

KloudMate and CloudWatch integrations have pre-defined templates. If you want to use any third-party integrations through Webhook, you can use templates to configure incident content, grouping logic, and auto-resolution for incidents.

Step 4. If your integration type is KloudMate or CloudWatch alarms, simply continue with assigning a service to your integration, enter a name, add a description, and attach an escalation policy, then click on the Save button. Skip the following steps.

If you choose not to attach an escalation policy to your integration in the above step then the default escalation policy of the assigned service will automatically be attached to the integration.

Step 5. If your integration type is Webhook, continue with assigning a service to your integration, enter a name, and description. Further, you will see the Title Template, Grouping Template, and Auto Resolve Template options.

Step 6. Click on the Edit icon in the Title Template field.

Step 7. Paste your payload in the payload editor and test your template. The output displays how your incident will be displayed within KloudMate. Click on the Save button when done.

Step 8: Click on the Edit icon in the Grouping Templates field to group incidents so as to only send one collective notification for them. Click on the Save button on the top right corner corner of the Edit Grouping Template window.

Step 9: Click on the Edit icon in the Auto resolve Template field to configure auto resolution for incidents. Click on the Save button on the top right corner corner of the Edit Auto-Resolve Template window.

Step 10: Select an escalation policy for your webhook integration. Click on the Save button.

If you choose not to attach an escalation policy to your integration in the above step then the default escalation policy of the assigned service will automatically be attached to the integration.

Once your integration is successfully created you will be able to see the integration details.

You can copy your integration URL from here, or use the settings icon to edit or archive your integration.
